Christian has always loved experiencing stories, telling stories, and helping other people tell their stories. He references Life Is Beautiful, in which the main character constructs a silly game to shield his son from the traumas of their life in a concentration camp. Chris says, "In a way, all film is like that. It’s all a grand illusion. It's a benevolent magic that can pull people out of their pain, fear, & isolation; and place them in a world of freedom, courage, & companionship. It's one of the many reasons I fell in love with film; It makes you feel.”
